berita baik!

da tengok twilight ari kames aritu kat one utama!! akhir nyer penungguan yg bukan maen lame tuh da terhasrat! :D gile penoh kot org nak tengok twilight aritu. tapi mostly ramai dak2 pompuan la kan since hero die ensem. hmm, bagi aku, 3.5/5 la aku kasik hero tuh. huhu. tapi yg paling menjengkelkan, dak2 pompuan yang datang tengok tu bkn maen gedik lagik! seperti dlm isu serious farah aritu, banyak dak pompuan yg maseh kecil2 n xde 'bumps and humps' ni pakai bukan maen 'skimpy' lagik. jangan carik ape maksod skimpy kawan2. anda mungkin xnk tau. tapi tibe2 adek aku, bina, cakap tu kawan2 die. adeh. gile r. tp adek aku pown x bape baek ngan dorg sbb dorg gedik. haha, bina, ko tu x gedik ke?! X) bagos la gak, x tpengaroh kn.

k la, mlz nk cte pasal2 budak2 bajet matang neh. nak cte satu perkare yg memalukn jadik kepade diriku. mase nk masok tuh, punye la excited nyer kan. agak terlompat2 siket r n time tu plak da gelap, make.... jeng3... aku terple-owt sambil mlatah and ade orang nampak!!! ah! memalukan. T_T pastu nak kave balek, aku pown cakap la kuat2, "oh, ni seat kite!" padahal adek bradek aku jao kat blakang lagik. haha, pastu dudok dengan kalot nye nk tutop muke. adoyai la. bile la aku nk bhenti memalukn diri sdiri neh. -_-;;

mak datang lambat siket sbb dr opis kn. so, mlm tu g la mkn pizza hut. cam ala2 birthday celebration la tok mak since abah xde ni. tapi mak bayar jugak. :P

yang ni memang la aku x suke(xnk la sebot benci). ade ke patot tibe2 pihak asma, uia soh aku tuka bilek yang da perfect disuson ngan barang2 aku tuh?! gile r! aku da buat bilek tu cam bilek aku kat uma je kot. blambak barang yang ade kat situ. and teka katne die soh aku pinda?! blok h 5.8! blok len!! 5 tingkat kna naek!!! adoyai. blakang aku ni da la kurang support(ingt x mar?! huhu). seksa. torture. ape lagi pkataan yang bole disebot?! AND the worst part, bilek tu adalah bilek lame ijah n aina(xsalah aku) and dorg kate ijah ngan aina slalu dgr bunyik yg menggerunkan. huaa!!! aku ni da la lemah semangat siket bab2 neh. T_T

td adalah kali petame aku menjejak kan kaki pegi driving school kat seksyen 25(nad yang rekemen). memule ingat org tu nk datang amek kat uma so lepak2 r kan. pastu end up mak ngan abah yang kna anta g sane. x kesah sgt la kan. neves gak 1st time g sane so ade parental support, kurang sket neves nyer. :P then, bile da x jmpe tempat tuh, tepon la en hamid(instructor nad) tanye jalan. nak tau tak ape die jawab?!

ape ke bengong nyer jawapan da! kate tempat pandu kete. takkan bagi arah pown x reti kot? da la pagi tu xde nampak langsong kete ade plekat L tuh. mak agak bengang siket la pagi td kan. huhu. pastu da sampai la tmpt tu. pegi la register yada yada yada.....

so, dalam klas tu, org tu pown soh la dudok. mule nak dok depan, bole buat membe ngan sorg dak pompuan neh. tp tibe2 tringat ajaa ngan mar ckp bosan. aku pown membuat kputusan g dok blakang. ade la jugak sorg pompuan aku buat membe. name die tengku shikin gtu la name die and same baye. phew! lepas gak r satu beban since aku ni susah gak nk buat kawan 1st time. tp sbenar nyer nk cte cikgu yang mengajar neh. time 1st cikgu tu masok, aku pown dengan tibe2 tringat nad cakap die suke tanye2. adeh. xle tdo la ni. da la smalam susah nk lelap. kol 12 naek atas katel, kol 2.30 tdo. so, mate cam panas2 siket la kan and mnguap je memanjang. mamat2 kat situ da pandang sambil piki "x snonoh nyer pompuan" kat aku. adeh lagi.

tp, bile cikgu ni stat je aja, 1st aku tkejot sebab sore die high-pitched gile! kalah aku. falsetto yang mlampau. x kesah la sangat pasal tu sbenar nyer. since x dapat tdo pe sume kan, aku dengar la jugak dalam klas tuh. and surprisingly, care die aja tu cam interesting r gak. ilang mngantok jap sampai kol 2 tadi. da kol 2 kire limit so mnguap balek. anda terperanjat?! aku lagi la. aku yang dok dalam klas die tadik. huhu. and die ade la panggil name aku soh jawab soklan 2-3 kali. 1st soklan aku dapat salah.

satu klas gelak kat aku kot! sbelom tu, die tny org len brape had umor tok nk drive kete. org tu jwb 17 tapi jwpn die 16. tu yang aku jawab ade 'jugak' tuh. haish. malu la jugak kan. huhu. tp yang aku bengang ni, ade la mamat india dok blakang aku ni. suke bebenor la tendang and tolak kerusi aku. haish! tadik nk bukak sumo wrestling da! bengang kot! so, spanjang klas tu aku dudok x bsandar. nak jage imej punyer pasal and xnak gado kan. seb baek mamat tu cam klon hapiz zainal. aku rase kasihan la jugak since rupe nak same cam muke membe aku. >_> make, klas pown berakhir la pade arini dengan cramp buntot yang amat sangat and buntot ku basah sebab die berwap, lame sangat dudok. haih2. arap2 xde org pasan la. =/

happy birthday mom!

yesterday(25th nov) was my mom's birthday and we were planning on having a small surprise party for her. around 5pm, my sis drove us to the nearest bakery to pick out a cake. we end up with a chocolate cake covered with white cream and blueberry on top(but we paid using mom's money.haha!kjam gile ktorg. ;p).

and so, the surprise plan was put into action. we cleaned the house a little bit more cleaner than before(but it still looks the same. bsepah.). we waited for mom to come home which is kind of late. we got a bit bored and watched the tv first. a few minutes after 7, my mom's honda pulled up in front of the house. with excitement and impatience(for the match to spark), me and my sis went to the kitchen to set the candle but my mom was inside the house in minutes. the candle was yet to be lit. i got desperate and went to the living room to distract her. my brain was frozen at that moment and my mom was entering the kitchen. luckily, my lil sis called her and said "mak! umm......... spek! ibai!". my mom was puzzled for a moment and was about to scold my bro because the glasses he's wearing is brand new and cost a fortune. i couldn't help but laughed out loud on the spot and it makes my mom more puzzled. she was like "what?! what?! ape jadi ngan spek ibai? xkn da rosak kot? nape korg gelak?".

feeling defeated, my sis brought the cake to the living room and we started singing the "happy birthday song" (while snickering). my mom was touched(i think coz she was dabbing her eyes) while my lil bro light up the candles(api dpt dr dapor masak). and so, that's the whole story here. we had the traditional "frozen while cutting the cake for picture purposes". enjoy. :)

and so, the night ends with all of us(my dad's in langkawi) went to have dinner at Al-Rafi Bistro. we splurged on food a lot that night. i had keuy tiow pattaya, my sis had nan cheese with tandoori, my lil bro had chicken chop sandwich, my lil sis had chicken filled with cheese, my other lil bro bad chicken chop, while the birthday girl had roti telor only. haha. it costs my mom 60 bucks that night. yowza! gile mahal. anyway, we gave her a birthday while she was eating and since my mom can't read without her glasses, my sis offered to be her 'eyes'. an eventful night and a funny one too.

hey guys!
i kind of have an idea, or a project you might call it, for all of us...
i'm thinking of establishing a blog that'll help us get through life..
well, kind of.. haha..
the blog will be named "reality check" or "our survival guide to lead a happy life"(or any other suggested names) and i need volunteers to help make my dream come true! :D
so, basically, what we're gonna do is discuss or share life experiences or some news that's been bothering you or anything at all that can help others to survive this harsh life.
now, what do you say?!

let me sing for ya! ;D

Why do people back in the days write music other than as an entertainment?! How did it all start?! And a few of the writers we had is either deaf or blind or possibly both. So, how exactly do they make such a piece that is so beautiful and enchanting?! This is kind of intriguing don’t you think?! Tell me if you have the answer. =]

For starters, I think music and lyrics are created because people have a hard time in explaining and expressing themselves. So, why not sing?! :D let’s say if a couple is having a fight and neither the girl nor the boy know how to sooth each other’s feelings. Then, the guy will call the girlfriend up and sing or play a romantic track and the girl will swoon and everything will go back to normal! Heh, I hate these cheesy stuffs. Don’t get me wrong. It is sweet and romantic yada yada yada but if you can’t make things right on your own, it’s kind of pathetic you have to resort to music. You have to let go of your ego once in a while kan?! BUT if you’re having a date or some sort and you play romantic music, it IS romantic. Period. Even though I don’t have much experience in loving the opposite sex, I think this is what most people will agree to. =]

And so, our music quest continues on. As I said before, music expresses our inner feelings that we can’t show to others. For when you’re angry, there’s hardcore. For when you’re in love, there are a lot of songs for that nowadays. For when you’re having a crush, cutesy songs are the right choice. For when you’re feeling down, there’s a lot emotional ballad songs. Uh, there’s a lot of “for when” so I think you catch my drift here. ;) What is YOUR genre for the time being?! I’m feeling confused now so is there any song that can express me?! :D

I LOVE music coz it helps to calm me down a lot. When I’m down or angry or mad or lost my mood, music is the best cure. Not laughter as everyone keeps saying. That’s because I rarely share my ‘downs’ with my friend so they don’t know what the hell is wrong with me. Haha, that’s kind of my habit since I didn’t want to burden them with my problems. They have their own to think about. But if there’s something needed to be talked about, I will surely tell them. =]

Ugh, this post is kind of showing my emotional side so do forgive me. -_-;;

Good news! I just bought new shoes. Haha, sneakers might be the correct term. I gotta start learning wearing shoes outside since women’s feet are their aurah(haha, ttbe alim plak ;p). It’s obviously black in colour since it can match with every clothes that I have. And I will wear them to class next sem. Can’t wait! XD

More good news! I'll be watching Twilight this thursday at One Utama!! Can't wait!! XD (while wearing my new shoes. ahax!)

Bad news! My family was planning on having a vacation in Langkawi since both of my parents have work to do there. Then my dad(or his boss) has to ruin it by saying “boss tak kasik cuti lame2 sangat”. Damn it! I was getting worked up for it too! Now, my holidays will be purely spent at home. Darn.

movies, movies, movies...

guys, i'm so sorry for taking a such loooong time to update my blog. the internet was hogged by my bro and sis so i didn't get a chance to go online. sorry again.

we had siblings day out!(it's just me, my older sis, my lil sis and my lil bro. afiq is taking spm this time. poor him.) haha, this day is kind of rare for us since it's either me or my sis, bina, are away. obviously we took this opportunity to 'bond' with ourselves. we went to watch madagascar which is damn hilarious!!! seriously! i was in doubts when radzi and nesh told me to go and watch it. do you want to know how hilarious it is?! i was laughing at every minute of the movie. seriously. i think the people around me are kind of annoyed. haha. so, for those who haven't watch it, go watch it! BUT our special day didn't end there. guess where we went after that?! come on. guess people! ugh, alright. i'll tell you. we went karaoke-ing! :D unexpected eh?! huhu. i'm not much of a singer but it was fun. i sang until my voice was unrecognizable. btol neh. macam laki nak matang da. haha. we sang and laughed for 3 freaking hours and luckily sempat nk sembahyang asar. huh. camne bole lupe. and so, our day finally ends after we pray maghrib and bought dunkin donuts and apple pies from mcd. the ride home was a torture though. jam gile! pity my sis since she's driving a manual car.

this day is like every other day. lazying around the house, cleaning nooks and crannies, you get the gist. BUT, what makes my day was a korean movie i have in my laptop. i was saving it for the holidays and it's the holidays now. duh. before hols starts, i became obsessed of korean stuffs. the movies, short dramas and of course the songs. you might be thinking, "korean stuffs are lame" but let me assure you, it is definitely not. i was like you guys back in the days but as i got to know it bit by bit, it became an obsession. even nad is starting to like 'em. kan nad?! :D uhh, i'm digressing here so let's get back to business. the movie. it's called "A Moment to Remember". my friend gave this movie and again, i was doubting. she said it was SERIOUSLY heart wrenching. and fyi, i don't like sad movies. and sometimes, i laughed at the sad part. which is weird. so, i decided to give this movie a chance and off i go! the movie lasted about two and a half hours. and guess what?! i cried like shit. my nose was clogged, my face was flushed and my eyes were red. i never cried that hard since......... since............ ugh, i can't remember. there were only few movies that can make me cried so hard. not sepi. not cinta. a walk to remember maybe. and not only this movie(a moment to remember) is sad, it makes me feel like i want to get married as soon as possible. eventhough it just a movie, the role of the guy made me think that it IS possible to find a decent guy out there. he might not be right in front of me now, but he will be. someday. sigh. oh! i forgot to mention that i watched it twice in one day. that's how good the movie is. for the ladies out there, i recommend you guys to watch this movie and you'll see what i'm trying to deliver here. for guys, if you want it, feel free to ask. i won't judge. ;)

today's post sets me in a good mood! kind of.
after 1 year of hiatus, i've finally cleaned up my room!! yippee!!
well, 1 year is kind of over the top but that's me..!
the exaggerate girl. haha.
eventhough i'm in a good mood that my room finally looks like a bedroom and not a dump, i had to clean it alone.
my sister(s) are a no-show.
so, i had to scrub every nooks and crannies myself.
that's why i'm still in a good mood since it looks (almost) perfect and i did it alone.
huzzah!
it feels like i had just finished with my final project.

weirdo encountered weird things

i was supposed to post a post per day. i'm kind of short on one post so i'm gonna put two today. yippee~! =]

so, today i blew nesh off(sorry nesh!) on going to capital square to help my mom clean the house. 'people are coming to put cabinets in', said mom. with determination, i set my alarm to 8.30 am to get up. guess what time i woke up?! 11am! haha. so much for early eh?! but that's not the point. the fitting-cabinets-in finished around 2pm or so and i was still thinking of going to kl. luck was not on my side since my mom still didn't remember that i wanted to go out today. sob3. my lil bro suddenly suggested that we go grocery shopping tonight. obviously there's something or a lot of things that he wants. vitagen. boh ice peach tea. chocolates. these are the three essentials we ALWAYS buy. we're healthy yet not so healthy.

as we arrived at tesco, we had a light dinner and off we go! picking out things to buy was easy peasy until we encountered a small section that makes us laughed our head off(since we can't roll on the floor laughing) that said,

'harga timbang untuk bras & panties'


what kind of store that sells bras & panties by their weight?! it's so ridiculous! a great save but ridiculous. tsk3. if i wasn't posting this, i would be one of the people in line to buy 'em. hoho ^o^

laugh all you want but i like it!

due to the title and picture above(haha. cam nk buat essay plak), i would like to tell you how amazing this movie actually is. people might be wondering, why on earth would a 19-year-old girl be watching such a kiddish movie?! haha, you guys thought wrong. it's actually a REALLY interesting movie. what's more, there's dancing and singing and the songs are awesome. i repeat, awesome. yeah, the acting is kind of 'kaku' but if you actually listens to the songs and watch the choreography, you'll be amazed! well, i was amazed. most people will dislike(not hate) this movie if they set their heart to it. so, don't say you'll dislike(not hate) it until you actually watched it babes! ;)

here's the real story that i'm posting. some events happened during my leisure time of watching this movie. first, the plan to go and watch this movie was totally unplanned. so, a few minutes before me and my sister are off, i text-ed my mom saying that we're going out. mom replied that my dad was coming home bringing my lil' bro with him. so i thought he had the key to the house. i called just in case he didn't have it. boy, was i pissed when he said he didn't have it. we were already there and almost took the parking ticket too! with heavy heart and a few cursing words(not to my dad of coz! what kind of daughter do you think we were?), we drove back home(my sis yg drive, i don't even have a lisence. huhu). eventhough, bukit raja and shah alam is not that far, the oil still count! kan minyak da naek harge... huhuhu...

putting that aside, the second incident i think was the worst one of the day. we didn't have lunch due to the 'going-back-to-the-house' thing. so, we decided to sneak McD in and buy drinks from the counter. everything went well since we were laughing jollyish-ly(is this even a word?) and was thankful that my sis brought a big bag to fit our lunches! now ladies, aren't you glad that people start the 'big handbag' trend?! i do! huhu. moving on. we set up our lunches like we're having a picnic. chili sauce on a tissue, burger at our hands and apple pies at our sides. still jolly, we ate like barbarians that time.

a sudden voice came at our side(jaws theme song suddenly flooded my mind). crap! we were caught! i didn't think this would happen! thank god not that many people were there and there was obviously no cute boys. haha. if there WAS a cute boy, i wouldn't know if i wanted to date him or hate him. haha. so, with shame, my sis packed the food and put it aside. so, i thought the lady in charge would let it slide since we DID NOT eat it anymore. we drank the soda we bought and ate the popcorn we stole. haha. as if i will steal anything. then she came back and (rudely) asked my sister to leave the food outside. we plead since the movie was about to start but obviously she didn't budge. my sis went out to 'put the food outside' and came back a few minutes later with a sigh. she told me that the 'lady' had shooed her to the entrance but she took a detour and entered the toilet. so the food was still in her bag. haha. embarassing but what the heck! rules are meant to be broken one might say.

lucky us the movie was fantastic. i was thinking of voodoo-ing that lady for doing that to us. yeah, it was our fault but she's just a little too much. a simple common courtesy wouldn't hurt for your customer y'know! why does outside food is not allowed in anyway?! it's not like the popcorn stand is not going to have any customers. kn?! :/

a little advice: don't bring out the food you brought in illegally until the coast is clear. i'm still pissed but you'll reap what you sow. haha. xde kna mngena langsong! XP

i don't brag

so, here are the things that welcomed me home on a sunday night(eventhough the pictures are in broad daylight)...

yeah, it was shocking. i thought i got into the wrong house that night since my living room was a mess and look what had replaced my tv section. haha! i would've been jumping around if i weren't so damn tired. but i did talked in a high-pitched voice. :D

it was a '21 questions' session that night. and i think i pissed my dad off. haha. so, i shut myself up and eat my dinner(sandwich from dunkin donut only =/).

i'm kind of proud of my dad for realizing his dream on buying this set of tv and speaker stuff which he had been eyeing since god knows when. he had been nagging and showing us which one he likes the most. we(me and my siblings) don't really care since we were the ones who hogs the tv all the time anyway. haha. i think we have to let him watch the tv once in a while. -_-;; sian abah.

oh, i want to promote something to those book lovers out there!

this book is freakin' awesome i tell ya! the movie is due in two weeks!(i think) can't wait! for those who love romance(xde la romance sgt pon..huhu) and action and creatures - in this case vampire- you guys should totally read it! finish it in less than two weeks aite?! i dare ya.. haha.. and don't forget to read the continuation! new moon, eclipse and breaking dawn. this series might even surpass harry potter... in my opinion la.. X)

and this is for music lovers!

these dudes are actually made up of alex turner(arctic monkeys) and someone(the rascals). i came across this band quite some time ago and my sis gave it to me just yesterday. if i had known alex was in it, i would've totally listen to it every night. so, i'm listening to it now on repeats! :D it's good album and still retain some of arctic monkeys charm. so, i love it! XD

an unexpected turn

saturday, 8th of november '08

nesh and i planned on going out for the last time before the holiday starts. farah slept over at my room that night so we can wake each other up(yeah right! i was the only one who always wakes her up! she slept like a rock. hard to wake her. honestly). but....

nesh and the others had other plan that friday night since mahad's birthday is on saturday(happy birthday dude!). i thought the plan was still on so i slept like a baby dreaming what would happen tomorrow. as time passed by, i got a text message around 7.45 am from nesh saying,

'blun.. ktorg baru sampai blik ne dr kul 9 mlm smlm kua. klu ko ad plan gtaw paeh..'

i got the hint instantly and thought that the plan was bombed. me and farah decided to go anyway and we prep ourselves prettily(haha!) and texted others who might be interested on going. khalil and sob bailed also. oh well, life goes on and times square is waiting!

then, farah had the weirdest idea of inviting ayie, arip and the gang. i told her it was hopeless but i tried anyway. here's the unexpected turn! ayie called me saying that he and dol will be going to low yat so they will join us after our movie is finished. hurrah! at last! ade people to teman us ronggeng! XD

after an hour of wait - me and farah was trying on clothes.yes, for an hour - ayie and dol arrived at times square and told us to meet at kenny rogers. big spenders! we went searching for it for almost 20 minutes and feeling embarassed, i texted ayie asking where the heck kenny is. eventhough i've been living in kl my whole life, i still don't know the location of certain place. even my hometown shah alam. haha.

a surprise was waiting for us in the form of adni at kenny rogers. i was shocked to see him outside of uia's boundaries since he looks like the type who doesn't go out. haha, no offense adni! so, after the breakfast+lunch+dinner meal, we went to pray and met up at the bowling alley. the 3 of them were already playing pool and we went to book a lane. and so, the joy ride begins! i'll let the pictures do the talking now =]

it ended with adni winning 1st place for bowling, ayie 2nd, dol 3rd, me 4th, and farah last. haha. we went to the arcade next and they played the shooting game thingie and of course, the car race. i was fourth for the first round and last for the 2nd round! well, it's not something to be proud of but if you know me, i rarely play things at the arcade. so, it's an improvement for me. yay me! XD

around 10.45, we made our way back to uia but stopped by at some tepi jalan stall. the dudes were still hungry after kenny rogers they ate around 7 which they didn't even finish. how they can sumbat the next meal is still a mystery for me. the food there was good though - me and farah had nasi putih + tomyam campoq. since adni was the winner for bowling, he had to pay for the losers food(yeah2, we were the losers). haha, it's twisted but we got free food! who cares?! :D

here's the funny but scary part. on the way back(from gas station to the tepi jln stall), ayie was driving but adni was the one who controlled the sterring(is this how u spell it? o-O)! i didn't take any picture coz i was holding my seat tightly. haha. please don't try this guys. it's fun but when you get an accident, it's not fun anymore. >.<

so, the day ended with them sending us all the way to mahallah asma at 12 midnight. what a day! it's a new expreince for us with a whole new gang. haha. it's fun nonetheless.

hello everybody! hai semua! konichiwa minna-san! anneyong haseyo!

i'm very very very very new at this blogging thing so it might took me some time to beautify it and such... so just bear with it aite? ;)

so, as an intro, i would like to tell you why i chose the name 'a spot of bother' as the name for my blog...

me and my best friend, farah, was trying to come up with witty names for my blog...
she suggested to put the one thing that sets me apart from everybody else........ which is my mole...! like duh!

here are her suggestions:
1. black mole(actually, i came up with this one but i don't want to tell her coz it's embarrassing!)
2. dot
3. dotted
4. dota(guys would have a total laugh at this one!)

and so, i came across a book (owned by my sis for a few weeks but the wrapper is still on.. this is so her!) which was on my desk entitled... jeng4! "a spot of bother" by mark hadden... but this doesn't count as plaigrism kan?! and for a second i thought, 'hey! this could work!' since the book is supposed to be funny and i'm funny(aren't i?!) and it did work... yay me!! ngee~! =D

therefore, this blog has 2 meanings to it!
1. a spot(my mole) is a bother for me! -since many people i encountered with had made jokes about it.... and it kind of saddens me.. =(
2. it can also mean that a spot in my mind has been bothering me so i have to tell people what it is... which is why this blog is born! *a chorus of choir comes in*

phew! i've been blabbering for how long i'm not sure... =/ so, i end my first entry with "you better read this blog or you'll be sorry!"
